How it plays
Draw a land tile and attach it so roads, cities, and fields match their neighbors. You may then place one of your meeples on an eligible feature of that tile. Completed roads, cities, and monasteries score points and return the meeples committed to them.
Your meeple supply limits how many projects you can pursue at once. A large unfinished city may promise points while tying up a piece you could have used elsewhere. The landscape grows from everyone's placements, so your plans need to accommodate tiles played by other people.
Decisions you’ll make
Compare extending a valuable feature with completing a smaller one to recover its meeple.
Before placing a tile, check how its connections change nearby projects belonging to other players.
Learning the game
Explain legal tile connections, where meeples may be placed, completion scoring, and scoring unfinished features at the end.
