How it plays
On your turn, either draw a card into a shared row or take a row and all its cards. In the usual three-to-five-player game, each row holds at most three cards. Once you take one, you stop playing until everyone has claimed a row and the next round begins.
Keep the colours you collect in front of you. At the end, choose three colours to score positively; every other colour scores negatively. With the recommended brown scoring table, larger collections become increasingly valuable, up to six cards in a colour.
Decisions you’ll make
A row can help one player and hurt another. Before placing a new card, check whose collection it extends and whose unwanted colours it adds.
Taking a useful row early protects it from being spoiled, but leaves other players to improve the remaining offers without you. Waiting gives you more information and also gives someone else a chance to take your preferred row.
