How it plays
Everyone begins with a small personal deck. On your turn, play an Action, spend Treasure to buy a card, then discard and draw again; some cards expand those allowances. Purchases usually enter your discard pile and become available after a reshuffle.
Ten selected Kingdom piles define the available effects. The game ends after a turn empties the Provinces or any three Supply piles, and victory points across your entire deck determine the winner.
Decisions you’ll make
Buying more Actions is not automatically helpful: without extra Actions, several drawn together compete for the same opportunity. Look for cards that support the cards already in your deck.
Victory cards usually contribute no spending power. Buying them secures points while making future hands less productive; waiting lets rivals buy the remaining Provinces or end the game through other piles.
Learning the game
Moderate: the Action/Buy/Clean-up loop is regular, but card combinations and extra-action allowances need practice.
