How it plays
The market offers goods and camels. On a turn, take cards or sell one type of goods. You can take one good, exchange several cards with the market, or take all its camels into your herd. Camels do not occupy your goods hand and can help fund later exchanges.
Goods tokens generally reward earlier sales, while larger batches earn bonus tokens. The market refills after cards leave it, so a purchase can expose something valuable for your opponent. Rounds end when the deck or enough goods-token piles are exhausted, and the first trader to win two rounds wins the game.
Decisions you’ll make
Compare a sale now with the larger batch you could realistically assemble before the price falls.
Consider what a camel pickup or exchange leaves in the market for the other player.
