How it plays
Sagrada turns a shared roll of colored dice into individual stained-glass windows. Over ten rounds, players draft dice in an order that reverses for the second pick. Each window has spaces requiring a particular color or value, so a tempting die may have only a few legal destinations.
After the first edge placement, dice must connect to the existing window, including diagonally. Equal colors or values cannot share an edge. Public objectives reward arrangements, while a private objective rewards a color. Favor tokens pay for tool effects that can alter particular placement restrictions or adjust dice.
Decisions you’ll make
Keep future spaces in mind when choosing a legal placement. A die can fit now while making a neighboring printed requirement impossible to satisfy later.
Decide whether a tool rescues enough scoring potential to justify its cost. A useful first activation costs less than later uses of that same shared tool.
Learning the game
Moderate: teach placement legality before objectives, tool exceptions and the two-way drafting order.
