How it plays
Four square cards sit on your clover board, creating a pair of words along each outside edge. Write one clue connecting each pair. Then remove the cards, add a fifth card, and mix them together.
The other players must reconstruct your arrangement from those four clues. They can discuss possible connections and rotate the cards, but you cannot help them. A complete first attempt earns a bonus; after an error, they get one final attempt with the correctly placed cards retained.
Decisions you’ll make
Choose clues that explain the intended pair rather than merely matching one of its words. During reconstruction, test whether a proposed placement makes sense for both neighbouring clues: solving one edge can create a problem on another.
Learning the game
Light: two main phases, with most of the explanation devoted to paired words, card orientation, and the second attempt.
