How it plays

Two piles climb from one and two descend from 100. Play cards from your hand onto any legal piles, then refill. Normally you must play at least two cards per turn; after the draw pile runs out, the minimum becomes one.

An exact ten-step move against a pile’s direction is the exception that reopens space. You win by playing all 98 numbered cards; if someone cannot meet the required minimum, the game stops and you count the cards left.

Decisions you’ll make

Keep jumps small when you can, but consider whether a larger move sets up an exact-ten reversal. Several cards can be played in sequence during one turn, so order matters.

Warn teammates when a pile matters to you without naming concrete numbers. You can ask them to leave a pile alone, but cannot explain the exact card behind that request.

Light: four pile directions and one exact-ten exception; emphasize the minimum cards per turn and the ban on concrete numbers.
