How it plays
Each level deals everyone more cards. The team must play all those hidden numbers onto one shared pile in ascending order. There is no turn sequence: you choose when to put down your lowest remaining card.
Players cannot reveal values, consult about their hands, or use secret signals. If someone still holds a lower number than the one just played, the team loses a life and sets those skipped cards aside before continuing.
Decisions you’ll make
The main choice is timing. A long pause may make your card feel due, but it does not prove that someone else is not still waiting with a slightly lower number.
A throwing star can help when everyone agrees to spend it: each player discards their lowest card. Decide whether the uncertainty justifies using that limited resource instead of saving it for a later level.
Learning the game
Light: teach ascending play, no fixed turns, mistakes, and throwing stars; the challenge is coordinating without hand information.
