Everyone chooses at once from a shared row of donut cards. Your growing collection stays visible, so opponents can see which treats would help you. Choosing something less tempting might secure a card while everyone else clashes over the obvious prize.
How it plays
Each round, secretly choose a numbered card matching the donut you want from the shared row. Reveal together: if yours is the only choice for that donut, collect it. If several players chose it, discard the donut and those players get nothing.
Some donuts score points on their own; others reward collecting several of a kind. Some also trigger an immediate action when taken from the row, such as drawing an extra card or taking one from an opponent.
Refill the empty spaces and choose again. When the deck cannot fully refill the row, total the points in your collection. The highest score wins.
Decisions you’ll make
A glazed donut is worth two points by itself; a single jelly-filled donut scores nothing, but two score five. Completing that pair could be worth more to you, while also making your next choice easier for opponents to predict.
Learning the game
The secret-choice turn is simple; most of the learning is reading the donuts' different scoring conditions and immediate effects. Before starting, demonstrate a matching choice that sends a donut to the discard pile, then compare a fixed-value donut with one that scores in a set.
